Calculates hour and minute difference between two times on the same or different days.

Length of the from–to interval. If “To” is earlier than “From”, the span crosses midnight (+24 h).

Formula
difference = end − start (minutes); if end < start, add 24 h (overnight)
Example: 08:30 to 17:00 = 8 h 30 min; 22:00 to 06:00 = 8 h
Methodology
Difference between two times in hours and minutes; if end is before start, add 24 h (overnight).
Example
8:30 to 17:00 = 8 h 30 min; 22:00 to 6:00 = 8 h.
